the hotel could've been charming, but the trite signs warning about charges for late check-out were hardly welcoming. I struggled with the precarious, loose tiles in my room. As a discerning traveler, I certainly expected a complimentary snack or drink, but I suppose that might've been too much to ask here. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

My room was quiet and spacious, but the bathroom smelled pretty bad.

Positive, The location is fantastic, right on Via Etnea. My room was spacious and very clean, with a super comfortable bed. There was good water pressure in the shower and even a fridge with complimentary drinks! The communal areas are beautiful, especially the salon.

Carlo and his staff made my stay delightful with their attentive nature. The location on Via Etnea is fantastic. I could easily explore the heart of the city. My Standard Single Room with a private external bathroom was spacious and impeccably clean. I loved the charming decor, featuring antique touches and frescoed ceilings that captured the historical essence of the building. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing the perfect night’s sleep. I enjoyed how quiet it felt despite being centrally located, allowing me to rest without disturbance. One minor inconvenience was the limited reception hours, especially during checkout. Encountering no one at the front desk made timing my departure tricky. There were also some noise levels from the occasional other guests in the hallway, but nothing too bothersome. Lastly, the lack of breakfast service on-site meant I had to seek out local cafes for my morning coffee. Overall, the positive aspects outweighed the negatives significantly.

It affected my ability to relax, as the sound insulation was not as effective as expected in this busy area. Additionally, I was disappointed with the service at reception. one staff member seemed dismissive towards other guests, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere.

Got me a nice room with them memory foam pillows, gave me mad comfort after that long train ride. Location? Right off Via Etnea, couldn’t ask for better. That charming little vibe hit different, fr. Slipped my mind they don’t do breakfast, though.

The spacious room really made our stay enjoyable, especially with three kids. We loved the beautiful decor and proximity to local sites. The location was perfect for exploring all that Catania has to offer, and the convenient babysitting service was a huge relief!

My wife says that having kids’ amenities would be fantastic.

The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the city. The Superior Double Room was very clean and offered an incredibly comfortable bed with amazing pillows, making for restful nights. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and having a small fridge stocked with complimentary drinks was a lovely touch.

It was just a great match for short visits in Catania with value for money. I really appreciated the antique furnishings that made my room feel unique and cozy. Bring some earplugs to deal with the street noise at night.

This place has old world charm with a lovely, clean room and the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in while traveling! I loved having a little fridge stocked with free drinks too. Just keep in mind the TV didn’t work during my stay, but honestly, this was such a minor detail to worry about. Would definitely pick this spot again!
